All other aspects of the newly named Equinor Summer STEM camp including camp sessions, registration, location, etc… remains unchanged.”

  • Camp Times: 10:00 AM  to 3:00 PM 
    • Pre-camp Activities 8:00-9:45 AM
    • Post-camp Activities 3:00-5:00 PM
  • Registering for Camp requires the following 2 steps:

    1  Selecting and paying for the camp/s you would like to attend this summer. 

    2  Completing the Enrollment Packet forms found on the link below and submitting to camp directors within 2 weeks of paid registration.

             3  Complete the Google Form found here:  tinyurl.com/StatoilSTEM2018 within 2 weeks of paid registration.

The Enrollment Packet forms are due within 2 weeks of your paid camp registration. Registering/paying for camp/s, submitting the Enrollment Packet forms and completing the Camp Google form are all required to complete the camper registration process.  Once the Enrollment Packet forms have been processed, confirmation of delivered or mailed registration forms will be emailed to the email address provided at payment. Campers will not be considered as registered for their paid camp selection/s until Enrollment Packet forms are received and the Camp Google Form is submitted electronically.  Paid campers, who have not submitted their Enrollment Packet forms and/or completed the Camp Google Form in the 2-week window, may lose their spot in the camp for which they registered/paid. Don’t delay – complete and send your Enrollment Packet forms and submit your Camp Google Form immediately. Enrollment forms must be received by the Statoil Summer STEM Camp Directors, with original signatures (no scanned or electronic signatures will be accepted). Forms can be sent via the USPS or delivered in person to:

The Statoil Summer STEM camp offers 6 different fun-filled themes which integrate science, technology, engineering, and math for students entering grades 5-8 in Fall 2018.

Camp Registration fees: 

  • 1 Week: $350
  • 2 Weeks: $650 (Save $50)
  • 3 Weeks: $950 (Save $100)
  • 4 Weeks: $1150 (Save $250)

** Raspberry Pi has an additional $55 fee

Costs to attend Pre and/or Post Camp Activities: 

  • Pre or Post camp activity $50/week
  • Pre and Post activities $75/week. 
  • ** UH Employees receive free before and/or after camp activities but they must register for them so we can plan for numbers. 

**All registration fees include daily lunch and a camp t-shirt.

*** Special Note Regarding Yahoo Email:  Yahoo email is intermittently arriving hours or even days after being sent. Yahoo has changed its security protocols and is unable to distinguish legitimate UH emails from malicious spam. As a result, they delay delivery until times when there is very low email traffic. We have worked with Yahoo to prevent the problem but they are still mishandling our messages. We are not alone as a considerable number of universities are having the same problem.  If you use yahoo email, please be advised that there may be communication difficulties. 

Cancellations & Refunds
Parents who cancel a camp or wish to switch their child from one camp to another will receive a 50% refund of the cost of the dropped camp if notification is received at least 15 business days before camp starts. There are no refunds for camps dropped less than 15 business days before camp begins.
